They are, after all, only computer models of the real thing. Virtual tone.
Performing musicians who care about tone know that they are a poor substitute on stage for the right valve amp.
So TONE is the reason musicians still favour an ancient technology, despite the associated poor reliability, massive weight, and excessive heat.
